How to facilitate Holistic Thinking

We have all heard that 'the whole is greater than the sum of its parts', but how can we apply it to our lives?

Being an holistic thinker is not only for Scientists or Philosophers, on the opposite it is a must for all of us trying to get new and better answers.

We have been trained to see things in a certain way, with a short sight, like horses blinders. Focusing on the detail, believing what we are seeing is the reality, the only true. That´s it, I'm looking at it, it is right there, so it has got to be real, isn't it? Whats wrong?

Well my friend, there is nothing wrong with you, this is what we have learned our entire lives. How can we be able to have a Holistic Thinking when no one ever told us how.

Whats going on here is that we are usually looking at the part instead of the whole! Part of the problem, part of the solution, part of the emotions… we live in a complete Fragmentation.

Is like we have been living in a big Zoom In, and now its time to Zoom Out.

Zoom Out and change perspective! Discover how the whole looks from a distance and

enjoy the bigger picture.

It will help us recognize the interconnectedness of various elements, patterns and objects that form larger and greater systems.

We will see connection where we though there was non and we will discover that

everything is linked.

Holistic thinking means the opposite of analyzing something in detail, so it will give us a different perspective and also some different answers.

Holistic medicine is a prominent example of holistic thinking. It considers the relationship between the mind, body and spirit. Holistic doctors don't just provide patients with medications. Instead, they look at ways to improve life balance and eradicate health problems from their root source, such as high stress or bad nutrition.

We can find Holistic Thinkers in many disciplines, and what they all have in common is the ability of looking at the whole with an open mind that allows to discover those invisible connections that linked us all!
